Cats from yesterday’s Travel at Pagsanjan Laguna and Los Banos.
Happy Monday everyone! Another week ahead and a lot had happened this weekend for this kitty. Last Friday, my older sister gave me a new set of earrings from the Fashion Week event. The design is okay, but what drew me to it was the name.
Shopping is always fun and I did just that yesterday before heading home from Mandarin Hotel. I went to SM Makati and it’s always nice to go shopping to the mall when it’s just opened.
The real reason why I wanted to go to SM Makati beauty section, was because I’ve been wanting to buy the Kustie brightening+whitening body scrub. Among other things, we already ran out of hand soap. Good thing the hand soap and the Kustie was on sale.
Last week, I went to Stacy’s house to hang out and luckily despite it’s my first time to travel to her house alone, I didn’t get lost.
Anyway, I slightly envy her collection. She has all the consoles and hand held games (PS3, Xbox, Wii, Nintendo DS XL, 3DS, PSP, and Vita). Every gamers dream is to have them right?
Sundays are always spent with the Family. My mom told us that we will also be celebrating an advance birthday celebration for my sister.
We first attended worship at Bread in Greenbelt 1 and had our lunch at Pancake House.
Dear Roguey,
I didn’t know it would be the end of our journey together. I wish I had spent more time with you that night, or let you out in the cage. I was excited to see you when we got home yesterday around past 4PM, only to hear that you unexpectedly passed away. We have 2 hunches of what may have happened, but it won’t bring you back anymore.
So I hope you are now in a better place, but forgive me if I mourn. I love you Rougey, I’m sure you know that. I will never forget you and no one can replace you. You are full of life and always wants to mess up my bed. Even if I had fed you, you are still hungry.
I miss you so. I don’t know how long I will be grieving, for it’s my first time to feel like this. Maybe in time….
Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn's rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush
of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there, I did not die...

I always look forward to weekends, Saturday’s spent with my man, it was our regular RnR at his place for a gaming session. He actually let me try Demon Souls and Amalur: Reckoning, you see my BF is a hardcore gamer/ gamer geek and recently in his Facebook status updates is mostly about his gaming journey with Demon Souls, how freaking hard the game is and I was able to experience it myself and now I understand his “frustration”. First of all, the controls are different, you will be using the L and R button’s for attacking or defense, and then the d pad to switch equipments /skills and potion and then the analog stick to move. It was overwhelming and hard! Let me rephrase that, it will eat your soullllllll! (haha). Not to brag or anything, my BF’s best friend Jon only lasted a minute, I for one lasted an hour. So it’s not that bad considering it’s my first time. My class is Royalty, which both uses magic and long rage weapons.
What I love about these kinds of games is customization, here’s how my character in Demon Soul’s look like (see photo below).
Pretty plane jane right? All through out the game I kept screaming like a scaredy cat and told Martin that I wanted to rest for a while. He recommended that I try Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, which I enjoyed more over Demon Souls and also because my character looks way better (hehe). See photo below
I think Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning is the game for me, it’s much more light hearted and slightly plays the same as Demon Souls only easier. This is just the demo only, release of the game will be sometime in February for PS3. I played almost the whole afternoon, and after that we were able to catch Sherlock Holmes on HBO.
For lunch, I cooked burger patties, luncheon meat and egg sarciado (no photos sorry), unfortunately, the burger patties was burned (almost charcoal like – haha), the fire was to high and I did not set it on low. My man kept on complaining about the patties (sorry babe, next time will make better patties for you), but at least the saving grace was the egg. We tried a new drink stall at a nearby grocery which I will be posting in my other blog. Before heading home, I was caught of guard by his advance birthday gift which was really sweet of him.
Someone was extravagant that day (thanks love!), will make a review of this sometime this week. And while I was taking a photo, this cat always wants to be the star (see photo below).
Martin has a very, VERY noisy cat named Tigger…..
We both had a blast and missed each other dearly, I can’t wait to spend time with him again this weekend!
Hope you guys had a great weekend too~
Till then!

What’s on your bed? Mine are usually pens, my journal, cellphone and my current read – Eat Pray Love, but most of the time it’s my cat Tabby. My cat has this thing, sleeping on top of my bags every night.
It’s the first day of December! And even if it’s a little bit hot, I’m feeling the Christmas spirit more and more.
Yesterday, spent food tripping with my man and boy, it was one food trip that I never ever want to do again. We had late brunch at Mang Inasal, both ordered the Spicy paa which was as usual, rockin’ good! We met around 10am, as our agenda that morning was to decorate his office along with the bosses sister Maita (the designer and dog lover). She owns Baby Moon Lifestyle and Baby Moon for Pets, frequents at Hobbes and Land, Bonifacio High Street.
Anyway, after decorating, Martin and I drove to Glorietta to first buy his toys (men and their toys), and watch Happy feet 2. He did mention though that, The Adventures of Tin Tin got good reviews, but I was up for a simple feel good, laugh trip mood that day. So while waiting for the movie, we grabbed a bite at Burger King. I don’t know why I chose the Crispy chicken burger. I ended up taking out the bread and munching the chicken like nuggets, along with my disappointing onion rings.
For some reason, their onion rings tastes different. The chewy kind of different, weird I know. But that’s how I can best describe their onion rings.
Still, it was filling so we needed to walk it off and visited some stores before heading for our movie. I’m not sure if it’s because of the Holiday or it’s the Christmas shopping rush, there were a lot of people in the mall yesterday.
I took a photo of the stall were currently, has been having long lines. The tea craze!
GONG CHA
A movie is never without some munchies, we had our usual BBQ flavored popcorn from taters, along with ice tea to wash it down.
For dinner, we went for Korean at Mr. Kimbob for Bibimbap and tried out their Tukbogi (rice cakes).
The rice cakes was a disappoint, it was too flimsy. I’ve tasted real korean rice kimchi cakes way back and this doesn’t compare.
We both had too much to eat, the Bibimbap over did it. We rarely do this these days so it was still a treat for us.
And for the kid in my man, a sneak peek of what he bought..
A funny looking rabbit at Bio research
And here’s the new model for Knick Knacks
Vain shots please….

In my position, where I’m the only one taking care of my cats, I decided to just have one cat, and that is Tabby. Then, one evening when I got home from work, something arrived inside a travel cage. I first got a message from my sister telling me to give a way the poor thing in the cage. Well, it’s already hard trying to look for owners who are interested to adopt, so I just kept her. I let her stay in our veranda in a cage, after a couple of weeks, the cat’s cuteness and charm worked and eventually I let her in.
Her story is similar with Tabby, a stray cat wondering in our veranda, trying to fool the cat lady (me). Her name is Rogue, it was my sister who named her.
Content Kitty? I think so too…

What a busy weekend it was, attended an event and then yesterday, blogged, did some chores and then helped my sister with her project, where food and cooking was involved.
Pasta is the most flexible dish to make, but for my sister’s project it had to be gourmet, so we thought of Puttanesca. I recently watched Jamie Oliver’s show at TLC (Travel and Living Channel) and he made puttanesca, which was surprisingly very easy to do. For my first time, it was a success.
Ingredients consists of the following:
Not bad for a first time, although it still needed more tuyo for that salty taste. For our appetizer we made dynamite. Green chili stuffed with mozzarella cheese and bacon.
And because the tuyo has a strong scent, my cats were all over the place.
Oh hello there Tabby! It’s been a while since I last saw you~
Oh hello there too little Rogue~
Finally, weekends are done and I can finally rest today. Hope you all had a great weekend
Till then!

It’s not only the hoomins that are on vacation, the cats are on vacation as well. This photo was taken yesterday before lunch.
*note: I don’t own these cats, they just love to lounge in the area or sometimes…. steal our food in the table (they manage to get in the house).
I rarely see them all together in one place, so this was really a pleasant sight yesterday. It’s the Mafia Cats! hehe
The mother is the tri-colored cat, yes, that’s all of her huge ass babies. The neighbor upstairs is the “owner”. One of their siblings died though :(
I saw it one morning crushed infront of our house T_T
Anyway, as I was taking photo of the new Asian Secrets soap, someone rudely butt in the shoot
My Tabby! a very dirty Tabby, he’s scheduled for a shower today and have to cage him for a while (super pasaway).
Will blog about the Asian Secret in a separate post. Happy Monday everyone~

Hello dear readers! Happy Monday, I hope that everyone had a well rested weekend.
My Saturdays are usually spent with M and Sundays with the family. Last Saturday, was a laid back weekend for me and M, we stayed at his place and watched Schindler’s list and played my favorite game on his PS3 Mortal Kombat.
Bag of the day
Which I don’t usually bring because it’s transparent and we used to commute.
We first went to his office to drop something off, his colleague was doing over time that day so they discussed some things before we left.
M driving, compared to the first time he drove me to our friend’s wedding, he definitely improved a lot!
Somewhere along Pasong Tamo~
Us outside the office, painting the town RED! LOL! If you can notice, there is something in my right eye, a small pimple grew on my right eye lid, haha!
On our way to SM Bicutan, because toll is freaking expensive, we drove at service road instead.
And because it was traffic, I took some vain shots of myself. LOL!
Food find! review to follow~
As soon as we got to his place, I asked if we can play MK (mortal kombat) first, right after we watched already. But of course, no movie is complete without chips. M is very pihikan with chips, I just bought the Clover in BBQ flavor which I ate alone. He prefers Tater’s BBQ popcorn or nachos D:
The house where Amoen Goeth stayed and killed people mercilessly T_T
It wasn’t my first time to watch The Schindler’s List, I just wanted to watch it again. Next time, M suggested that we watch Band of Brothers. Their “yaya” Ate Jol and her kids were there that day, it was merienda time and there was enough spaghetti sauce left for me… I mean for US to eat. M’s mom makes THE best pasta sauce EVAR!
It was quite masebo, but soooooooo GOOD! Just like the first time I tasted Tita’s spaghetti. I was a little disappointed with M’s birthday a few months ago, because the pasta tasted different. Ate Jol told me because minadali ang luto that time.
After merienda, M’s mom called and asked if we can pick her up at Cash and Carry Makati. On our way, M and I were having a good laugh along Paranaque in France road when the most unfortunate thing can happen. The gas pedal wasn’t working, so we had to move aside. We didn’t know what to do, and there was no talyer insight. But this kind man, pulled over, a red car and wearing a red shirt too! helped us. M got schooled, LOL! But he was very very thankful. He was the only guy who was kind enough to pull over and help us and his name is Lawrence. Thank you Lawrence :)
We didn’t risk going forward so we just texted Tita that we’re going back instead (sayang)
Calling for help! HELP!
Anyway, we had a simple dinner at his place, his mom brought some crabs and Ate Jol cooked some hotdog for the kids, us included. LOL!
Since taking the car was risky, we commuted going to my house. Somewhere along Buendia there’s a gas station, and we grabbed some drinks first before riding a jeep (PRC).
And of course, it is never complete without squeezing and playing with Tigger, his fat cat!
And a cute cat near a sari sari store, it was late already and I couldn’t take a decent picture since the cat kept on moving (cleaning himself).
My blog seems to be a diary of some sort, aside from beauty, food and gadgets, I like sharing posts like these. More posts to follow~
