CD-R King

 

     I’ve been on a hunt for a Hello kitty  mouse that looks sturdy and reliable, I’ve seen some in some PC stores or CD-R king, well they do have one but it doesn’t look like it’s going to last a month, since I will be using it for gaming purposes too. Maybe I am asking too much for a mouse eh? haha.

     BF and I went to CD-R king the other night as we were looking for a good sturdy pouch for my camera, wasn’t able to find one so I opted for a mouse, I kind of needed it urgently before my rest day so I found one. It’s not pink but somewhat close to a cat, a paw printed mouse. BF kept on nagging me to buy a cleaning kit for the camera turns out I ended up using just the cleaning cloth.

        What I like about this mouse is that after use, there are no messy wires or tangles. 

     What I don’t like about it is that the wire is a little bit thin, thinner than the usual wires. At least it’s cheap so incase this gets destroyed I won’t feel bad that I didn’t pay for a hefty price for this. But performance wise, it’s pretty good. The cleaning kit is P40 btw.

      I still plan to invest on a good mouse and definitely a good camera pouch, my camera deserves it, and will be getting a screen protector too and a pretty pink strap. Haha. I have to save up a lot since KOMIKON is almost near and I want to buy the Book 4 of TRESE and the new ZsaZsa Zaturnnah comics.

     As for CD-R king, I like that some of their products are cheap, but you could expect some of the quality ain’t good either. My favorite things in the store are their SD cards and card readers.

J – Jollibee dinner date

 

     BF and I had dinner tonight, was a little late so told him that I’ll be treating him for dinner instead. Decided to eat at Jollibee, I always (most of the time) end up ordering their Beef and mushroom 39ers, it’s cheap but good. I’m really glad Jollibee came up with their 39ers line.

      There were more pieces of mushrooms but I don’t really mind at all since I love mushroom and hey c’mon, what do expect for the price right? What’s important is that it taste good.

       BF’s order, plus a TLC burger. Wasn’t able to get a picture of the burger, but I’m pretty sure you have an idea already of what it looks like right?

    

       Definitely love Jollibee’s crispy fries, but we weren’t able to finish the fries we ordered.

     Total cost P242, including drinks.

What I bought for the day or rather night.

 

    Hello readers! It’s one rainy or rather stormy night! As soon as I got to Alphaland Southgate mall, the rain really poured so hard and that the umbrella I had was totally useless. What sort of pissed me off before leaving for work is that my other MRT card got lost somewhere in my room. I usually buy 2 stored value cards which is good enough before payday comes but now I have to buy another one. Waste of money I hate it!

   Well,  anyway so I was wet and all and was thinking of buying a blanket or a new pillow, since I brought my pillow  at home and that my cats are using it already as their sleeping bed. The pillow got flat and was really dirty already. I ended up buying a pillow instead, just in case that I may get stranded at work and I always use it to be comfy while working.

    So here’s what I bought for today, before heading off for work.

        I actually like it, there were other designs but this one was the prettiest for me, price is P125 only, which I think ain’t bad. I’m thinking of buying one for myself at home since I love to have many pillows in my bed. I’m the kind of sleeper that should always have a pillow to hug. 2 Pillows for my head and 1 pillow to hug.

  How about you? Are you okay sleeping with just one pillow on your head? or do you also like having many pillows beside you? Wish I could sleep right now but have to work, oh well. Sleep well for those who are at home, I’m sure it is cozy! Jealous. haha!

Thank you Lady Mitchelli – I iz happy

 

    I finally got my prize from Lady Mitchelli’s birthday giveaway, which we are all familiar of so I won’t be making a review about it anymore. But I am really happy to have a limited edition Hello Kitty Maybelline cat volum mascara, which was on sale sometime in August.

          The old one is the one at the back I think, didn’t use flash since it would be too bright and time consuming since it was supposed to be my sleep time already when I took this picture.

    For now the cat volum is my favorite mascara, but I’m actually interested in buying the Magnum volume mascara, my friend Lady E swears by it, so Imma try it too. XD

Kaya Express - our first time

 

   Decided to post it as well, since I am not sure If I have time to post this next weekday.

   During my date with the BF last Saturday, we were thinking of where to eat for dinner, I first recommended him to eat at Kaya and looking at their menu he was impressed, also because of the prices as well. But before we went there we bought his toys first at Toy Kingdom, well hey, boys will be boys right? So we bought his toys, looked around through some stores and damn, Megamall sure was jampacked, it was HOT and there were lots of people because of the SALE, the bag at EGG was tempting to buy since it was only P600 but I refrained, well if I did I’d go broke and I’m saving a lot for the holidays. Before buying BF decided to open an account at BPI and it was a pleasant experience, If I opened an account at BPI I’d definitely RAVE about it too, but I’m tied with BDO already so yeah, I was really jealous with how the people at BPI assisted my BF. If you’re curious on how we went through about it, read on at BF's blog. Oh and thanks sweetie for my Supplementary Credit card, will have to wait for 2-3 weeks for that.

  Anyways, on to dinner, we were almost tired as going through place, even falling in line in the restroom was looooong, our feet got tired and we were about to eat AGAIN at Shakey’s but told him, let’s try something new hun, just a few more steps away from Kaya. I forgot which floor was it, sorry. So enough babbling and here are pictures XD

     We ordered BIBIMBAP in hot stove, radish kimchi, bottomless ice tea, Dweji bulgogi, Steak beef

    This is how it would look like when mixed, it comes with a chili paste which the waitress mixed for me. The waitress said an interesting comment while she was mixing my Bibimbap but I’ll make a separate post on that.

                       Dweji Bulgogi – pan grilled marinated pork strips P175

       This arrived at our table sizzling H-O-T! As well as my Bibimbap, the waitress offered to cut this into bite-sized pieces. They were actually very attentive, maybe because I told her that I am a blogger. As for this order, it was not spicy at all but BF and I loved this a lot! It was really yummy but more on the sweet side.

                            BF’s order ~ Steak beef, I think this one is new P220

       This was really yummy, the steak was beefy and the portion size was not bad at all. I tried it and I’d have to agree with the BF, he say’s he’ll definitely go back and order the same food, haha. I also liked the coleslaw something. This actually came with fried dilis on top of the rice but BF asked to have it removed (arte) haha. He also tried my bibimbap and he loved it as well. He said, thanks hun for bringing me to this place, I am definitely not disappointed. He was happy ^_^

     BF took a picture of this, I find it cute actually. XD So for our total bill it only cost us P754. What’s good is that there were not much people inside the restaurant. Waiters were nice and attentive. Our first Kaya Express experience! We will definitely go back, hmmm, I seem to be craving for the Bibimbap again, haha. It was good!

      BF requested to the waiter to write the complete name of the food which we ordered, and I was expecting it to be just written behind the receipt, when they came back I was surprised that they had the menu photo copied for us.

     My rating: 4/5 spoons. It would’ve been great if their side dishes were free, just like a real Korean restaurant where my mom use to eat at somewhere at Makati ave. But overall! I’d definitely recommend you guys to eat here.
