Dining out at Marciano’s

 

       My good friend (Lady E) and I , met again yesterday. As you all know, Lady E is the bazaar queen and she needed some extra hand for yesterday’s bazaar, of course I couldn’t turn her down and I had nothing better to do that day anyway. It’s also good to spend more time with her, since I used to rarely go out with her at the time I still had work as a night shift employee. Our usual meeting place is at Rustan’s, since she always has business to do there. After which, she brought me to Greenbelt 3, Marciano’s. It was her treat, super thanks sister dear.

   We were the first customers to dine in. I love the ambiance as it has a very romantic feel, dim lights and lush furnitures.

    E had the Tenderloin and prawn P549 we both chose the roasted garlic rice as our side dish.

   I had the pork and steak something P548, as usual I love my steak medium rare~

    I liked it, the sausage was okay. It tasted like the sausage we buy at Santi’s. The steak was okay too. I can’t seem to say anything more than “it’s just okay”. Besides, I haven’t tried most of their food yet. But if we do, I’m trying the pizza and pasta. Hope M will bring me here in one of our special dates. I managed to finish my plate, and for the price, I think it’s worth it. Their mashed potatoes are good though, E ordered an extra mash potato and shared it with me. I wasn’t able to take a picture though, but I love it!

   After lunch, we headed to La Salle – Taft for the bazaar, today is the open house, so if you by chance are in the area, please do visit us.

Flattering tops and denim leggings OOTD

 

    Hey ladies and gents, I’m so happy today because I got my Flattering tops that I ordered last week. I ordered 2 denim leggings and 1 audrey top. As soon as I got the package early this afternoon, I wore it immediately. First of, Ms. Diana of Flattering tops was really accommodating and kind enough to recommend me tops that would be flattering for my shape. If you order 2 or more, you get a discount, so from P450 less 50 pesos. Not bad right? I’m getting more denim leggings soon.

    I was worried that the leggings may not fit just by looking at it, but IT FIT!

    I went to M’s office this afternoon to test their new game for the android, I can’t divulge further information about it yet, but I do hope once it’s out already, give it a try, it’s fun. After which, we had dinner at Alpha Land Chowking (as usual).

Random things

 

    I’m on a roll, haha. Because I know I may not have the time to post in the coming week.

    I realized that I have a few gadgets and some cables that was a mess in my cabinet, which is why I bough a box from ACE hardware with my friend E.

      It’s not much really, but at least it’s all on 1 box already.

      Among other things, I bought are the following~

                        It looks too white, but I’m acidic anyway so it’s still okay. 

    I can’t say that I love this yet, since application can be tricky. And I won’t be making a review for the majolica anymore since it’s been reviewed by most beauty bloggers already.

                                      Finally, I bought myself a blending brush

   This is the first skin care I used, will make reviews soon as I’m still observing results (if there’s any) for my super oily face.

    He was trying to play with my brush, but I stopped him. And look at those nails, they spell deadly! haha! Well, that’s about it!

Pampering myself at Bench Fix Salon

 

    Here’s another overdue post, sorry I was busy a few weeks ago, spending time with friends and weekends spent with M.

    I had my haircut a few weeks ago at Bench fix salon, Alpha land branch Magallanes, the week after, I had my hair colored for only P800. They have a on going promo for the month of June at all branches I suppose. My hair was long at that time, if you’ve observed my previous photos and with that length, it only cost  me P185 haircut with style. The lady who cut my hair is (If I can remember it right) Louisa, she did a great job with my haircut and I love my bangs, if only I can have my hair blow dried everyday I would.

      Here’s what happened… By the way, my color is Red light brown from L’oreal

    My stylist was friendly and she knows what she’s talking about, which I like very much. I told her I was in a hurry so she had another assistant color my hair. It took me only 1 hour and 30 minutes, from shampoo, color, washing and blow dry. Louisa warned me that my hair is dark black and the color may not appear as compared to the color chart she showed me, so I was asked to sign a waiver. Wasn’t able to take a picture of it sorry. By the way, as you can see, I just used my trusty Nokia express phone for pictures.

      

     Being the noob that I am, I thought there will be lights in this thing (LOL) it was rotating actually, then I felt the heat. I asked L what’s it for, she says, because the area is cold, we need heat so that the color will be absorbed by the hair. After such, L explained that she will be applying color to the roots since it’s the fastest part that absorbs the color. Then the rotating thing was back in my head again for 10 minutes.

      L saw M coming inside the salon and said: “Naku nandyan na sundo ni ma’am” she called another assistant to blow dry my hair. LOL! I’m loving Bench Hair fix, Alpha land branch. I hope to accompany my friend E, she wants to have her hair done too. All in all, I paid around P875 only + a 100 tip for the stylist. I definitely recommend them if you’re in the area.
