What was supposed to be posted last Friday

 

Happy Monday everyone!  Another week ahead and a lot had happened this weekend for this kitty. Last Friday, my older sister gave me a new set of earrings from the Fashion Week event. The design is okay, but what drew me to it was the name.

  It’s been 2 weeks of my vacation and it seems like it’s been a month already. The irony of being unemployed and starting from scratch all over again. But at least I know that being a BUM is not my thing.

    I was utterly bored today and I miss wearing make-up, so I decided to play (practice) with my eye make-up. The first time I wore the Wet and Wild (sweet as candy palette), it made my eyes look small because the pink eye lid color was too frosty and I didn’t wear any eyeliner. But this time, I made sure to put black eyeliner and topped with black eyeshadow . It looks much better and does not make my eye look sleepy. But the color doesn’t show much since my room is rather dark even with florescent light. I just used my camera phone

   Sorry, maybe I’m just being vain today which rarely happens, haha. So just imagine me with full make-up but wearing “pambahay” (a big shirt and shorts), my sisters kept asking If I’m going out today, haha. I’m also testing out some products that I will be reviewing soon. But one thing for sure even with the Dr. Jart BB cream (silver) it makes my face super oily, which is supposedly to control oil. What I love about the palette, even without a primer, the color still stands out which is good if I don’t want a “dramatic” EOTD. The Wet and Wild palettes are definitely worthy buys.

    Mind you, I am not that white, just slightly fair, I just used the camera app in my phone (camera 360) using dreamlike effect. As for my read, it was outstanding and unpredictable which I like. While reading I was craving for chocolate, and what I do even when we were kids is to eat powdered milo and put a tablespoon or two of water which turns out as fudge, YUM~

    The lipstick used was AVON’s barely there, I just topped it off with ELF’s lipgloss in watermelon. 

 

      It’s been a long week and I hope something interesting will pass by. I’m still persistent applying online and praying for one application I found. XD

Lip love: AVON’s Knock out Pink and NCOTD

 

  Happy Monday everyone~

  For today’s post, mom gave me a new lippie from AVON in the shade of Knock out pink

   Btw, NCOTD meaning Nail color of the day

 

 

  What’s loveable about AVON is it’s sleek packaging, it doesn’t look cheap and quality is very good too.

   Here’s a some swatches:

   The name knockout sounds loud but the shade is very wearable. If you wear it alone, it comes off a little bit reddish. My usual routine when wearing lipsticks is I put on whatever lip balm I have in stash on my kit and use it as primer.  The lipstick comes of, slightly matte and a hint of sheer. The smell is yummy!

  I will always love AVON lippies, but I’m still searching for “THE” lipstick. Anyhoo, take care people~ I can’t wait for tuesday + payday + last day at work = LOVE!

Product review: AVON ultra rich mega impact lipstick in Kicked up coral

 

   Lippie review…

    Having won Phoebe’ s contest (thank you soo much), I’ve been intrigued with AVON’s new ultra rich mega impact lipstick and my loot included 1 kicked up coral lipstick.

    I liked how it was newly designed, here are pictures:

 

   Swatch:

 

   A reddish / coral-y orange color, the shimmer effect is visible but personally I like it. Staying power not so great. But this one I find highly pigmented, I think this is good for night wear. I find it too bright to wear in the morning (not that I am awake in the morning, haha).

    I wiped off the color and this is how it would look like when the lipstick is almost washed off from the lips.  I don’t know how much it cost since I got mine for free, but I would sure like to try the other colors like Pink pop and pumped it up peach.

 

   What I love about AVON is their make-up line, especially the lipsticks, maybe I’ll go to the megamall branch and check if they have the colors I want. But then, it competes with color scensational lippies too, oh what to buy? hehe.
