Kim n’ Chi + Cucina Spanish food

 

      A few days ago, my man and 2 of our friends were supposed to meet up for a catch up date before he would leave for Singapore. It’s not permanent though he’ll be back after a week, and I will definitely miss him a lot. One of our friends (Stacy) wasn’t able to make it due to unfortunate events. So it was just me, Martin and Che.

       I’ve been seeing Kim n’ Chi since it opened but never attempted to try it. But this time, because I was craving for Ramen, I tried their spicy seafood ramyon. The price is pretty reasonable and they didn’t skimp on the seafood as well. My total bill cost me around P150 or less I think or maybe less than P200 (back log post sorry). Upon ordering, you will be given a disk, just like the one in Happy Lemon.

Valentine’s day~ a wonderful surprise

 

    Please excuse the cheeziness or what not, it just so happens that I was completely caught off guard with M today.

    This morning I was really feeling sick already and decided not to go to work, but there was something wrong with our electricity and I have no freaking idea why. Sleeping was a pain, so I woke up early in my usual waking hours before I go to work. My alarm goes on around 7:30PM but I woke up around 6PM, showered and while I was drying my hair, my 2 nephews shouting and running to the room saying that M was at the gate. I was like WHAT? O__O  or just like this

   Yes that’s how exactly I looked like, haha. So yes, we celebrated Valentine’s day together. I was in a rush, that I just put on powder, blush on and lip balm, my hair was still wet when I went out (which I hate by the way – I don’t really like going out with wet hair), but then M asked me out and it was the sweetest. I was craving for KFC double down “burger” so we ate at a near by branch in my place.

    So now, we have a pre and during valentine’s date together. First visiting the sick kitty (me), treated me out for dinner and giving me a gift too. I love it! and no it’s not red roses, haha – but something better, will post the picture of the gift soon.

     I will be making a separate food review of the double down, but here’s our pre and during valentine’s day photo

Happy Valentines ~

 

   Happy Valentine’s Everyone, a warm greeting from me and M

   The left picture was last years valentine’s (I was still in college then- graduating BSBA) and right is 2011’s pre valentine celebration at Makati. Nothing really fancy, as we’re really saving up for a lot of things, wants and another trip to Tagaytay for Christmas again.

     M and I are together for 5 years and I’m definitely a lucky girl to have met my soulmate. I’ve been to rocky relationships back then, but eventually I got too tired of looking and decided to be single and wait for THE ONE meant for me. I’m thankful I waited, because I couldn’t ask for more. The book I kissed dating Good bye, by Joshua Harris, definitely helped a lot in changing my perception about relationships back then. For the single ladies, trust me, don’t be in a hurry, because if you wait, it’s much more worth everything you can ask for. Thank you lord for giving me such a wonderful and faithful man in my life~ Happy Valentine’s babe ;)  and happy valentine’s to everyone out there.

Dinner date - everything chicken

 

  It’s been quite a while, well a long long while since I made a haul, and if you’re wondering why or when? not anytime soon my readers :(

  I’m actually saving for a dress for a wedding that I was invited to, 2 months from now. So things I’m saving on besides a dress are shoes, hair color and a future make-up haul. I just don’t want to impulse buy anymore since the BF and I are saving up for a our house and we need two years to come up with 200k before we could move in there (somewhere in Paranaque).

  Anyway, with that aside we usually meet up for dinner and play DOTA after (haha). For tonight’s or rather yesterday’s dinner we ate at KFC Pasong Tamo, Makati near our place. I was craving for the Italian Roma, unfortunately they said it’s Phase out. I was like? What?? how can you phase that out? hehe. So I opted for the creamy pasta bowl and mushroom soup. BF had the fully loaded meal twister.

   I was really really happy that they served the soup HOT and with crunchy croutons. One serving of this can definitely fill up the tummy.

     Of course, for a fast food chain you can’t really expect gourmet pasta right? but for this one, it is definitely creamy and a mild taste of tomato sauce. Good combination, the parmesan can make it a little too salty for others, but I liked how the flavors complimented each other. As for serving size, pretty decent, but can depend how hungry you are.

    Too hungry that I am, I didn’t take picture of the twister and forgot how much his cost, probably not more than P150 pesos. Their hot and spicy chicken sure is no joke, it’s so spicy that it kicks in at the end. Next time I promise to take more decent pictures when we eat out.

       Just one more day before my rest day and I’m not sure if I’m happy about it. Well, happy that I get to rest, but I won’t be seeing my baby boy Piccolo anymore. I’ve found a new owner for him, and she’s pretty too. I trust she will take care of him, just like the other owner of Piccolo’s brother Peewee.

A one of a kind Gaming Proposal

 

  Hello my readers, hope you are all doing fine. I just wanted to share a real tear jerker. Our friend finally proposed to his GF just last week (January 8). They’ve been together quite long enough, they’re actually one quirky couple. When we went to Tagaytay, it was my first time to get to spend more time with his lovely Fiance’ Joy Lyn. She’s a baker and with quite a talent too! Definitely when the BF and I get married soon, I’d definitely ask her to do our cake.

   Well anyway, I just wanted to share this one of a kind proposal our friend made for his girl. At first I was like, a gaming proposal? how? but eventually it all fell into place and found myself crying the whole time I was watching it. It was really sweet. Cheers to you Ed and Joy~

5th Anniversary with my Soul Mate

 

   This will be a quick post, So good morning readers! It’s been one cozy night and I hope it will drizzle a little since I love having a cool weather. Anyway, BF and I decided to celebrate our Anniversary early, which is today. Our real anniversary is tomorrow, October 3, we met way back 2005 in a computer shop we used to hang out. It wasn’t love at first sight, but I wouldn’t want it any other way. Fast forward today, somehow, we’ve been through a lot of fights, disagreements and even breaking up (which was entirely my fault) despite all that, we are still deeply in love with each other. The break up was not about cheating, 3rd party issue, he nor am I that type, but I wouldn’t go into details why, but it helped somehow realize how much we love each other and other things as well. I must say that I am a lucky girl to have spend my life with a man who is my soul mate. God truly blesses those who wait, well, no he isn’t my first but after jumping into different relationships I got tired and got sick of it. I stopped looking, and after a few years I met him, it was FATE ♥

   So, advanced Happy 5th Anniversary my love

    I absolutely can’t wait to spend time with you later.  He say’s we’ll be going to Glorietta, Makati to buy something which I have no clue what it is. Now thinking about it, I’m so excited! I’ve been looking at our pictures and definitely it IS priceless

    This is an old picture, I think 4 years old back when we were college students. I was in 3rd year and he was in 4th year. Using our ASUS phone.

    A few months ago, at 711 convenience store buying Ice cream to cool off, it was holy week that time and I spent the day with him and met his other relatives on the father side.

 

      We were playing around the N900 which I got to make a review of and this was the picture quality, buying our food at Galleria, Tokyo tokyo.

    This photo was captured by the Nokia E72 that I reviewed, using face front feature, not bad. A lot better than the face front feature of the N97 mini. After dinner at Alpha land. Now that we are no longer officemates, I think is okay, we get to spend less time with each other and be our own individuals. One thing I learned is, we are still a couple and eventually, when we do get married or live together, we will be spending most of out time almost everyday.

    So far, this is our very recent picture up to date, using his Nokia C3 phone. Well, I am thankful that even If I did gain some weight, he is very supportive with me loosing the extra, erm “baby” fat. Hahaha!  I still have a long way to go, but with his support I know I can do it. After 5 years, everything got so much better. Here’s to us babe! There are more anniversaries waiting for us, so I’m looking forward to it! For now, let us enjoy our day today and I just want you to know how much I appreciate you ;)
