Food talk: Yogurt at Qoola~ Ooola goodness XD

 

    Sundays are spent with the family~

    Yesterday, it was only me, mom, and my 2 younger but taller siblings. We attended mass at Bread Greenbelt 1 and had lunch with out Tita Myrna. After lunch, we were already running out of stories to tell and getting bored. So we asked if we can buy yogurt, QOOLA! I love yogurt, tangy, melts in the mouth and heaven!

    My only gripe about it is that it’s self serve. I find it much more expensive. The place is all white, my sister and I noticed that the employees are very suplada. tsk tsk!

    There are different of flavors to choose from…

     I like comparing how each yogurt tastes like from different yogurt places like, red mango, white hat, tutti frutti and now qoola. Qoola at first “bite” tastes tangy. It does not have that enough Tang, that I personally love, but it was still good. Refreshing, much more creamier compared to red mango and white hat. Toppings are the usual. I enjoyed it, but my heart still belongs to Red Mango!

    My sister and I have yet to try Golden spoon next time, good thing they have one at Glorietta 5!

That time of month: Solution?

 

  It’s that time of month again and what did I have? My solution…

 

   M and I bought this at 711 for P160+, it was so good, but I wished there were more peanut parts than the chocolate. I hope they make this stay for a looong time, I love REESE!

 

   For ladies out there, what do you usually eat or do when it’s that time of month? hehe.

Saturday date with BF and Friends

 

  Yesterday spent the day with the BF and our friends, it was loads of fun. We were way too early for the meet up time, so we first scouted for prices for an Ipod touch in Makati Greenbelt and Glorietta. I literally had no sleep since yesterday and you could imagine how much of a zombie I look . Conscious levels going up and it was one of those not so pretty days for me. Oh well, strolling around looking for gadgets and places to eat made us hungry that we ended up eating at Glorietta food choices, Go greek.

   The  feta dip tasted a bit tad too sour for my taste, should’ve went for the hummus instead.

    The BF was jealous with my order, yes! the lamb platter was really good, and the potatoes were yummy. Surprisingly, the lamb pieces were soft and cooked well. BF kept telling, next time I’m gonna order that! haha! As for his order, I thought the pieces would be hard just like the last time we ate there, but to my surprise it was soft. Flavorful too! Along with these 2 dishes came with 2 dips

   Both dips were yummy, and all gulped it down with soda

      I have a sweet tooth, and usually after meals, I look for dessert. BF wanted ice cream so I made way. We ate at Dairy Queen for our sweet fix of mud pie, I had the small one and he got the big one, and ended up not finishing both. Next time, share~ hate wasting money. hehe

 

      So full we both were, we decided to walk around, had his ring cleaned and while waiting

      See my face? now that’s what you call no SLEEP at all for more than 12 hours. 

     We met up with our friends at Greenbelt to watch Tangled in 3D, we didn’t have time to take photos of the 3D glasses, but definitely much, waaay better than the one at IMAX. Our friend N, felt woozy after though. :(

     Dinner was next, which will be my next post, so stay tuned please? I know It’s been a while since I blogged, which was already explained why. Upcoming haul to come. ;)

Weekend date dessert at Chef d Angelo

 

Quick post..

    I absolutely HATE friday because of the traffic, so BF and I ended up eating at Alphaland again for dinner last night. We ate at Reyes barbeque, but I think nothing beats Heaven’s barbeque. For dessert we went to Chef d’ Angelo for cakes, here’s what we had

   Erm, forgive the partly eaten picture of BF’s cake, just as I was about to take a picture he took a bite before me, he says sorry. haha!  Well, you can’t really expect much. It tasted okay, but both we’re quite dry, but maybe because it was almost closing time.

My first White hat experience

  Happy Friday everyone! I’ve been working for 7 days straight now and I can’t wait for my rest day tomorrow! (happy dance). So I wanted to reward myself for working hard and to pick me up, it has been a dragging week for me lately. My friend at work showed me her new Sophie magazine and I thought it was the same stuff but there were a lot of new items in store for this season. Sophie is like direct selling like AVON but more on clothes, lots of bags and shoes. It’s the store you can see with a big pink SOPHIE Paris sign along Edsa, near Shangrila. I bought 2 new shoes a black one and a purple one, pics will be posted once I get it and I can’t wait. Honestly at first I felt guilty, but then I really need new shoes anyways so what the heck.
    Anyway, enough about it since this is about one of my favorite treats that I’ve been meaning to try out just recently. The White Hat experience, I am happy that they have a small booth in Robinson’s Galleria, Ortigas near the 5th Avenue 3rd floor. Here’s what I bought

     Large size cup, plain yogurt with 2 toppings of diced cheesecake and blueberry, total bill was P155

        I find the large size rather small, and I got bitin for the price I think It was okay, I loved the diced cheese cake. It does taste like cheese cake and has a lemony taste, just the right tartness and sweetness. The blue berries were good too. I saw that they used canned blueberries. While buying, a celebrity (Will Devaughn) passed by and he even bought a White hat too, didn’t hear what was his order though.  I think it would’ve been great for the White Hat if they took a picture of him, holding a cup in his hand. Well I wasn’t able to ask if I could take pictures since I was late yet again for the cut off of the night differential. Darn it! It’s just 5 minutes I know, still every penny matters.
        My White Hat experience was a treat! I seriously love the cheese cake topping and I think it’s one of their signature toppings. I would definitely go back for more. After a weeks hard work, this ended my day with a smile and still wanting more. This definitely doesn’t make me feel guilty since it says 98% FAT FREE! LOLS!
