A date on Friday the 13th

 

    Hello people! first of, thank god blogger is back. I was continously “monitoring” blogger tonight, hoping I could read updates as well as post my blog too. And Lo and behold, when I reloaded the page, it went back to normal. YEY!

    Anyway, in my previous post about my advanced birthday gift for the BF, this is a continuation, we had dinner at Tokyo tokyo Megamall Ortigas.

     It was a few weeks ago that I noticed that the Japanese fast food chain re-made their “menu”. They now offer, fancy maki’s. Here’s what we had

  I wanted the tempura maki, but M ordered the American maki, which has ham and cream cheese. I’m acutally curious what those green and pink tiny “balls” were. The color was appealing to the eye though. My verdict? It tasted good, but not completely wowed by it. M loved it to bits! Next time, I will be trying the tempura maki and spicy beef.

   We both ordered the tempura and veggie bento, it was good, and I sure did taste the shrimp this time, which is good. You can never go wrong with Tokyo tokyo to fill up some hungry tummies and value for your money.

   After dinner, we or I mean I wanted something sweet and creamy, so we chilled at Starbucks, me ranting out about how my week has been and just completely talking non stop. We definitely missed each other so much. Had our usual fix of….

    Among other things, I bought a few stuff for my other baby – Tabby. His usual Friskies, bought him a new collar and 1 can of over priced 9lives can for P95 at Animal House Megamall. Oh well, I love my cat <3

Cat food: Fancy feast gourmet SALE~

 

   Happy weekend everybody! Omigoodness~ THOR is showing already and I can’t wait to watch it with the BF on Sunday (YEY).

     Well anyway, my post is totally unrelated to that, haha~ Here’s what I found at Shopwise yesterday

  I thought it consists of 4 gourmet cans but turns out for only 2, well it was still pretty good. And my cat loves it. Want proof?

Personal care: re-stocking haul

 

    Hello readers, how are you all doing? Yesterday, I was able to finally re stock on my basic needs, so for this haul I call it my re-stocking haul.

   dental floss, eskinol ageless sachet packs, the new pantene nature care (shampoo, conditioner and intensive treatment), feminine wash and kleenex oil blotting film.

    I noticed there are 3 brands of shampoo that I regularly buy, sunsilk (pink or green), head and shoulders (yellow) – for summer, l’oreal re-nutrition shampoo.

                                   Air freshener for the room and tissue for work

                                       Because I’m curious and it’s new~ lol   

And of course, I never forget the kitteh

                       Also bought cans of friskies, but got tired of taking pictures.

 

    I’m happy with my re-stocking haul, it would last me a month, at least I could save, so here’s how it looks like.

Friskies and my cats

 

   I’ve been feeding my cats 9 Lives for the longest time and I can pretty sure say that it seems that they are tired from 9lives.  I usually buy the kibbles (Dry) and the wet (Can) at Dog City, Makati Reposo. Well, they don’t seem excited about it too much when it’s feeding time. I decided to buy Friskies instead and once I opened the kibble pack they were all jumping in the table.

     I bought the small one just to try it out, and looks like it’s a hit. Cats do get tired of eating the same old thing eventually, well there are a lot of dry kibbles in the market but I can’t afford those since it’s way over my budget for cat supplies.

    The nutritional facts indicated in the back looks good, I’ve stopped feeding them Whiskas as it is junk, it has a high ash magnesium which is bad for a cats health in the long run and what I hate about Whiskas is that their poo smells extra baaad. I also bought the can (wet) which seems to be a favorite (tuna), after finding out about Whiskas, this is the only wet food I buy for them, sometimes the 9lives in Chicken gravy or Fancy feast.

     Each can costs, P64.90 at Shopwise Makati, but you can get this a little cheaper at Cash and Carry, and a little expensive at Walter Mart. My cats love this stuff which is good, next time I’ll be buying the bigger bag, but I’ll try the Chicken something.

      Next time, I’ll be making a thorough review for this.
