Something came in the mail today: MEOW~

 

   Quick post….

    Something came in the mail today. It was unexpected actually, I am still recovering on a bad case of dry cough and was feverish the other day. When this certain meow despite her busy busy schedule, thoughtful as ever wanted to make me feel better.

   We’re friends on facebook, so when this meow saw my post and posted a comment I was curious (she told me to wait for manong xend delivery boy).

            The minute I touched the package I knew it wasn’t makeup

    And that meow is my good friend E (Lady E). It was perfect timing, I was a little irritated because my mom lost my other pair of pearl earrings, which came from Boracay and when I saw the E gifted me a set of earrings, NONE THE LESS a HELLO KITTY earring, it was far a better replacement for the lost pearl.

    I so can’t wait to wear this next week, M and a couple of our friends will be watching Captain America this weekend. And I can’t wait for M to see this earrings. hehe~ Thanks E, and of course, I miss you too, I’m going to treat you out next time we see each other again.

 

   Yes, I love ANYTHING hello kitty, I hope M will buy me the hello kitty stuff toy at Toy kingdom soon.

My Random Monday

 

  Hello my readers, just wanted to share something that made my day tonight. BF and I had dinner and when I sat down in our table, he handed me a cute wrapped gift. First I was like, “ oh wow!” then, what’s the occasion babe? It’s an advanced Valentine’s gift he says. I actually ripped the wrapper before I could even take a picture.

  On other random things…

  Right after dinner bought some supplies at the Super 8 grocery

         A must have: Kopiko brown coffee and some powdered juice – the must have is the kopiko brown coffee, it’s the only coffee I drink these days ever since it came out in the market.

   I read about the chunkee cream pie in munchy crunchy’s blog which I saw only at 711 near work, so I tried it and liked it. Worth a try. Had coffee and the chunkee pie while waiting for my shift to start tonight.

   And last, when I arrived from work, our friend R, handed me their wedding invitation.

    It was flattering they included me in their list of guest, since both S and R (specially), is much close with the BF. Will definitely attend their wedding! Super thanks guys and so happy for you~

The other cat in my life + friendship

 

  Happy Holidays everyone! Happy for me too, for the holiday pay at work, lol!

Anyway, before I post all the hauls and reviews, let me share you what made my heart melt just this morning.

   As I was about to hit the bed and sleep, the doorbell rang and I was really clueless why the maids were calling me. A PACKAGE! First I thought it was the L’oreal thing that I joined but the package was rather small and in a plastic. I rushed to see whose it from, Lady E. Eeeeeeeeee! I was seriously flattered with the note and not just because you send me gifts but because, I gained a real friend (not just a follower) and having most things in common. Safe to say, that in the blogging world, I consider you as my real friend, even if we haven’t met yet. Thank you for considering me as the other cat in your life, as I feel the same way too. I always think that, most cat lovers jive, I don’t know why though?. Thank you thank you. I hope our friendship via web will become real one day, literally speaking. hehe.

    I was behind the light, sorry. This was the note that came with the package, it was the sweetest. Of course E, I LOVE IT TO BITS! I’m actually using them both now with the new bag.

Sweet surprise to start the morning

 

  Lovely Friday my readers! How are you all doing so far? any plans for the weekend? As for me, I'll  be staying home and rest up.

   This morning definitely made me smile (awww moment), I was pleasantly surprised to see a small note and something else from BF in my drawer. Actually, it wasn’t the first time, the first surprise was a few months ago, as soon as I got in the office our friend called me and handed me a personalized card from him she says.  It was sooo cute.

              A small keychain with sand from Bora, It’s cute actually and since I love keychains I definitely love this little surprise from him. When I opened my drawer it looked like this:

  Simple things make me happy and I definitely appreciate the small stuff he does to surprise me, unexpected.

 

  Btw, in one of my previous post, I mentioned that I love Country style’s Cherry Crueller, here’s what it looks like

  This is what I usually order now. Outside I like how the sugar hardened a bit or is it some sort of sugar icing? As for the cherry taste, It has a very mild taste. If you’re expecting to have that cherry taste, you’d be disappointed. But for me, I like it, I think a better option to the Nutty Caramel. hehe.

I’m thinking of which restaurant to eat for next week, since BF and I will be going out on a date, so I can make a review about it.

Weekend Surprise

 

Happy Sunday Ladies! Hope you’re all enjoying the long weekend. Traveling every Sunday is just a breeze in the MRT, just wished it was always like that specially on weekdays.

For today’s “little” surprise which I wasn’t expecting made my day a little better. I wanted to attend Espresso Comics’ Launch last Saturday but couldn’t get off to work (more about Espresso comics http://espressocomics.wordpress.com/) So, the BF then told me how the event went and I was hoping to get free copy of the comics but told me there was only one copy of the magazine comics, then slowly handed me a Garnier loot bag from the event.

  It was sweet of him actually, when he gave me the bag I felt I was a kid being handed a bag of candies. Pretty much the same reaction at that time :) Thanks so much dear, I really appreciate it much. The facial wash and toner is nothing new to try since I’ve been using this for a month now, although I haven’t tried the self heating mask yet. I will be making my review about it on the first try and if I like it that much then I’ll definitely be buying this for sure. My week ended with a nice touch and I love it!

 

  Remember my post about the Nature’s Spa Shampoo, well I can’t give a thorough review about it yet since I didn’t buy the conditioner variant. I stopped using this as I noticed that it doesn’t do anything in my hair, or maybe because I should have bought the peach one which is for dull hair. So, I just used this for my 2 cats, haha. Yeah I know! but it would be a waste if I just leave this unused right?

  But I’m not sure if I’ll be buying this again, I knew I should have bought the L’oreal Shampoo. But I’m glad I didn’t because there’s a new product that came out just recently I believe, The L'oreal New Total Repair Shampoo and Anne Curtis is the endorser for this product. This is what my hair needs, I’ve been recently conscious about how frizzy and dry it is so I’m giving this product a shot.
