Beating the Oilies with L'Oreal Hydra fresh

After almost a month of product testing my L'Oreal Hydra fresh facial foam and anti – shine gel, I can now write down my thoughts about this product.

I’m happy that I decided to buy this product a month ago. I’ve tried a couple of oil control facial washes but none has really worked (that well) for someone who has a bad case of oilies in the face.

Gamers Corner: DOTA 2

It’s been a while since I posted anything about games. My PS3 died down on me 3 months ago, so my only source of gaming would be PC/ laptop which is DOTA the original mod on Warcraft III.

But that is pretty old news already as DOTA 2 is slowly making it’s way available for fans. I joined STEAM, a gaming community where you can instantly access games and meet people online. You can check out more about STEAM in their website.

It was actually Martin who introduced me to STEAM and I’ve been a member since then. I installed the Kingdom of Amalur demo, and it’s definitely a good replacement for console gaming. The only thing you have to consider though is your specs. Sadly, my specs let’s say is not fit for hardcore gaming use so my DOTA 2 experience is a bit shitty – excuse the term.

When I finally received my confirmation code from Steam support. I was excited and downloaded it immediately. It took me 2 days to finish my download which is pretty fast.

Still friends

It’s the start of the week again and time to roll up our sleeves! Hopefully this will be a good start of the week for all of us!

Amidst all my drama about my breakup with my ex BF, we still manage to be good friends. We’re both working on our differences and perhaps maybe in the future, we would be back together although there are no assurances. Well, let’s just see how things will go. We both have our own lives now to pursue and careers to build, I’m just happy that we still communicate every now and then. After all, we did start as really good friends back in college. And I still believe that every relationship should have that foundation.

Sponsored post: Ginvera BB cream in Green Tea

Happy hump day people! As promised I want to share my BB cream experience with Ginvera.

As I mentioned in my previous post, I rarely include BB cream in my make-up routine for a couple of reasons. First off, I have very oily skin and it’s only recently that I found a skin care that helps regulate the sebum. Secondly, I know I haven’t tried a lot of BB creams, but more often than not it doesn’t look as natural to me.

Comparison

I’ve only tried Dr. Jart’s BB cream a year ago, and even the oil control doesn’t help. If there is one thing I liked about Dr. Jart is the coverage. I think I wasn’t able to make a “review” about the product, but I won 2 small tubes from Annalyn’s contest a year or two ago.

Moving on to Ginvera

Sponsored Post: Ginvera BB cream in the mail

The kind folks over at Sendah Pinoy courtesy of Mel, asked me to review one of their featured products in their site.

Ginvera BB cream, a product from Singapore. BB cream is not really a staple in my make-up routine because I’ve yet to find one that won’t give me a white cast and at the same time won’t make my face much more oily than it already is.  Since I’ve only tried Dr. Jart BB cream, I am more than willing to experiment and see if I will like it or not.

I will make a review as soon as I have the extra time to take photos of swatches and that I have given the product enough time to test it out. And just a heads up,  I will not sugar coat a review just because it is given to me.

In the mean time, I simply want to say thank you for sending me a couple of samples for me to try.
