Dinner and a Date

Hello there! What’s for dinner? BF and I went to Galleria to buy dinner, I had Tokyo Tokyo’s Terriyaki misono and he had Mongolian Grill bowl for P150, pictures below:

It’s definitely worth it, you can mix and match different flavors according to your taste but damn, just one order is good enough for 2 people all ready.

And while we were waiting for our food we checked out the Nokia store and get a feel of the C3, and yes, I love it more! the keypad is way bigger than the N900. And this is me imagining it’s mine, pathetic I  know! :D

Mongolian Quick Stop – Schezuan Squid

Hello readers, weekends are almost here, what are you all up to?

As for me, here’s another food review which is a backlog already. Didn’t have time to do this in the office these days. So anyways, I’ve been lemming on Mongolian Quick Stop for some time now and so far, I have not been disappointed yet with my orders. First was the Spicy fish pasta (which was just sardines btw) and the Schezuan squid which had rice, lots of white onion and green bell peppers. This one cost me around P110 ala cart, I noticed their prices are quite pricey though, but it’s good to reward yourself with something like this from time to time.

For the price, I would say that I wasn’t disappointed with how big the servings are, even with the pasta I ordered a few weeks ago, servings were pretty big and most importantly flavorful. As for this order, this one really filled up my tummy. I just wished that it had more squid pieces rather than the onions, but it was no biggie. And the texture of the squid wasn’t tough (which is the most important factor), you wouldn’t want to eat a rubbery squid do we?  Usually I love my food spicy so I asked them to make it spicy for me but then the lady said that it’s already spicy and YES it is! as for the sauce beneath the overloading toppings, the rice was smothered with the spicy schezuan sauce. Another happy spoon for me. Too bad I can’t order this everyday, since I’m on a budget. Looking forward to eating here with my significant other some day.

So the verdict? 3.9/5 Spoons (I have yet to taste authentic Schezuan, any suggestions?)

Will I eat there again? Of course I would! Will order something new this coming payslip (hehe).

Mongolian Quick Stop

A long over due review, but before anything else sad news my dear readers. Our house got robbed and the only thing that got stolen was my acer laptop, but they forgot to get the charger (stupid dumbass!) Oh well, was really glad nothing bad happened to us that night.

It’s time for my favorite review, food review! and for this week it’s Mongolian Quick Stop at Robisnons Galleria. I’ve been meaning to try this out with my significant other, but we always end up eating at our favorite places like Japanese, Italian or fast food. So for a change I decided to try it out on my own. I was torn between their rice meals or noodles and was surprised that they serve noodle dishes. I ordered the Spicy fish noodles which cost me around P85. Pictures below

Image0962      This was my order, at first I was expecting huge chunks of fish since it says on the sign board fish noodles, but then it was just spicy sardines. 1 spoon down, as for the taste? It was flavorful and is indeed spicy! So I was not disappointed there. Servings were quite huge too. My thoughts about it, they should have said sardines instead of fish.

My verdict: 3/5 spoons

Will definitely eat here again :)
