This is still in part of Lady E’s birthday bash at Clinique, the last agenda was a raffle prize, each lady gets to have a Chubby stick lip balm which Lady E will be paying with her own money, she’s that generous. I think it’s coincidence that M picked my paper for the raffle.
So here’s my detailed review of the new Clinque Chubby stick…
This was the lippie used during my make over session. Costs P920 I think, available in 2 shades.
Description says:
A super-nourishing tinted lip balm. What it does: This gorgeous lip color treats lips to mouthwatering moisture and a hint of soft shine. It never needs sharpening-simply swivel up to reveal more of the balm. What else you need to know: Allergy Tested. 100% Fragrance free.
My thoughts about it…
The lip balm has a slight lipstick feel to it. I love colored lip balms and this one is definitely great for touch ups right after eating, specially when on dates. It simply looks natural and blends in the lips, giving it a slight hint of pink color. For moisturizing, I liked the moisturizing effect it has. The lip balm looks like an oversized crayon which I find cute.
PROS:
- it’s retractable
- no need for sharpening
- gives the right amount of hint of color
- moisturizing
CONS:
- I can’t absolutely think of any, besides the whooping price – but hey it is a high end product XD
But given that the product is quite big, I think it can last for a month or so. Since you just only need 2 swipes max.
Till then!
Meow..Meow..
Ang ganda ng color and parang ang dali i-apply! :)

Clinique's Chubby Stick is rather pricey for lip balm / lip blush - but you have to admit that it does produce stunning results.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a good product but it's a little bit pricey nga.
