I was going through my small comic collection and it seems that Carlo Vergara’s creation fills up my shelves the most. It was my man who introduced me to the world of our local comics industry, which I eventually share the same passion now with the boyfriend. I got my very first copy of Ang Kagila-gilalas na Pakikipagsapalaran ni ZsaZsa Zaturnnah in 2009, I was able to have it signed during a Mangaholix event (2009).
I enjoyed the book and the musical play more over the movie version. And having read the book 2, I like the book 1 better than book 2. I just find the book 2 very dark and sad (mabigat sa loob). I don’t want to spoil the whole story and suggest you go get your copy, let’s just say that Didi, (Ada’s best friend) makes book 1 feel more light hearted and gives hope for Ada.
I’m very happy with my collection and I’m looking forward for more.
