Happy Monday to you dear readers! It’s been a busy week but quite fruitful! Aside from my food business, I was lucky to have been invited for a campaign launch last Friday at Lolo Dad’s Brasserie 6750 Makati.
I was invited by Strategic Edge, Incorporated for the Well-Fed, Well-Nourished Campaign Launch by PFI (Pet Food Institute) and VPAP (Veterinary Practitioners Association of the Philippines).
The discussion was basically about an awareness program to promote responsible pet ownership .
Also PFI the trade and marketing representative of US pet food brands and VPAP, the country’s experts in animal healthcare, will be signing a memorandum of cooperation in an effort to educate pet owners on proper pet care and increase their appreciation for pet diet and nutrition as well as proactive disease-prevention for pets.
My family owns 3 dogs and 2 cats, but I am more of a cat lover. In the Philippines, dog owners are more prevalent than cat owners. Which is why there are limited cat supplies in the market.

Statistics say that most pet owners continue to use leftover human food as it is more economical and avoids wastage. I could probably discuss on a different blog post about my thoughts about the campaign launch.

The committee’s objective are to inform and educate pet owners in the Philippines on the economic and nutritional benefits on high quality, commercially prepared pet foods and the importance of veterinary health care.

The people there were very warm, special mention to Ms. Jinny for the accommodation and to Camilla.
