Animals are meant to be loved not abused- sad post

Warning, this will be a long post  (not related to what I usually post) as I want to pour out my feelings and hopefully someone would read this and seriously do justice to our poor helpless friends. If you’re not a cat lover or animal lover don’t bother reading.

This is my blog and I can say whatever I want.

Hope you are all doing fine my readers, well as for me I was fine until a friend of mine showed me this disturbing picture via face book.

note:

The poor mother cat kept licking the kittens, hoping it would
revive the kittens. According to the family that adopted the stray cat,
on the morning of the 11th when they heard the cat’s tragic cries, they
rushed downstairs to discover this stray cat’s four kittens abused to
death, and even placed in front of the mother cat. The kittens’ bodies
were covered with bullet holes, with blood all over. One of the kittens
had its neck tied with a rope and elongated, its chest cut open, heart
exposed, while the other three kittens’ heads were stepped on.

I think my friends and officemates know how much of a cat lover that I am, as soon as I got in my station S, told me to log in my skpye and so I did (thinking it was work related), when I saw the link it was heartbreaking and I was FUMING MAD! This is not the first time this happened, this kind of abuse, the first that was telecast via media was the UP incident by some idiotic student who jumped on the poor kitty. And in most cases, more often than not, along streets or highways, you would see a dead cat and the innards, obviously hit un-intentionally or intentionally. It’s sad, very sad. I can’t stand looking at the picture any longer, I wanted to cry, how sorry I am for the mother cat, you can see it’s pain, loosing her kittens. Heart breaking. No one, a person nor a poor animal deserves to be treated this way. If a person does not deserve to be abused, so does animals. I really hope that one day, there will be laws for cases like this, or have  an animal police just like in the US and other states. All I have is hope, since I know, that would be far from impossible to happen, our country is corrupt, and thinking of these poor animals would be a waste of time for THEM, yes THEM! If the US can do it, why can’t we? maybe because your “budget” doesn’t permit to it? I’m not putting all the blame on you, but at least have a heart and write this in the book right?

To whoever did this, or to have killed cats or even dogs for dog meat! F*** you ALL! These animals are meant for companion not meat or to vent out your frustration or what! You will all pay, maybe not now but one day and I’m sure of that, and you deserve the exact if not maybe more to what you did. What did these poor animals deserve to be killed in such an inhuman way?  I don’t know what your reason was, but for whatever it was, it’s unforgiveable, a SHAME. No one deserves to be abused may it be human or animals. If only I caught you with your shameless action, I’d shoot your f****** balls and rip your whole body, tie you up and strangle you to death! Oh yes! I am really that furious right now! You reap what you sow, Karma will hit you and I hope it hits you bad!

Animals are meant to be loved and help man. Even if this happened to a dog, I would care as much too.  So that’s that! I want to give justice to all the cats who were killed/abused.

I know Lady E would feel the same way as I do.

Till then!

  1. i am not really fond of cats as i can't coax to them catch frisbee. but i am pro-animal. animal abuse is a no no. in fact, if one doesn't have the means to domesticate one, i'd better ask them to donate it at the charitable animal foundation, kesa naman magkakasakit ang yahop under their quagmire.

  2. I can't finish reading until the end. My heart cried as I see the photo above. I can't imagine it happening to my Precious and Apple ; (

So sad that some people are so cruel like they are living in another world. No compassion at all.

  3. @cafe'mobility: That's okay, what's important is respect for animals even if some people are not fond of them. Actually, that's the problem with some people, I don't get why they have to "own" a dog when they have no means to take care of the poor dog, I've seen houses and some places that has dogs that are visible for people to see and when you look at the dogs, they are malnourished and tied up in scorching hot sun. Problem with donating, PAWS is already over crowded with dogs and cats, I think they only consider rare cases when accepting dogs or cats these days.

@MrsMartinez: I know how you feel, I couldn't bare looking at the photo either, I would feel the same if it happened to dogs too.

  4. I just found this blog thru Lady E's page and i just need to comment. Its just that i'm so sad seeing that cat-mom's expression, she's obviously in-shock as anyone could see in her eyes. OMG, it only shows how UNCIVILIZED these "cat-killers" are, no sympathy, no conscience, no loving spirit, absolutely NONE...its sooo bad.

  5. @ShineyGlam: Thanks for the comment, much appreciated.

It really is sad, and it's not the first time this happened. This is always happening, mostly street kids are the suspects. That's why I hope PAWS, CARA will be given enough budget by the government so that they can rescue all cats and dogs.

Though their solution for now is having your cat or dog neutered or spayed to avoid over population. I keep telling my BF If only I was a millionaire I would love to adopt all stray cats.

  6. at a loss of their loved ones, animals mourn like humans. so let's try to be humane. afterall, the only difference that we had with them is our higher level of intellect. dogs for example can only reach the intelligence of a two year old child. and probably why our inytelligence went that far because we are entasked to steward our environment and shepherd other animals.

  7. That was a truly hair-raising story and so heartbreaking! I've long been fond of cats, so to hear of anyone hurting these darling furballs breaks my heart. But to hear about someone heartlessly murdering kittens - ! It was so sick and truly gruesome. I hope they find who did this; that bastard shouldn't even be considered human anymore!

(Oh, and thanks for surfing onto my blog, btw. I saw your Horlicks comment.)

  11. This made me sick. The pain in the eyes of the mother cat is unbearable.

I have always been a cat lover all my life, but when I rescued a beautiful orange tabby off the street of Magallanes, I got hooked into advocating compassion towards stray animals. I share the same dream of having strict laws protecting animals. I love watching Animal Cops on Animal Planet because it gives me a little bit of hope that someday, things will be better for the animals in the Philippines.

  12. @PAWsome Cats: I know, it pains me up to now. I wish we could have the same here in our country, but then with what's happening now, it's just wishful thinking.

    thanks for commenting
