The Nokia X7 definitely sets it apart from other Nokia handsets, because of the unique design, rugged but still classy at the same time. Pricewise, I can’t tell since I’m not yet sure if this has landed our ship already (figuratively speaking).
The design looks bad ass, seems to be more fit for men rather than women (sort of looks like a robot/transformers), but if you’re a gamer and loves movies, then this is definitely the phone for you.

Here’s a video of my impressions and a video sample from the X7. I wish you can see the video quality as it is really amazing for a smartphone. Now I know why it’s called the Entertainment smartphone, because it definitely is. As for gaming, it was slow since it only has 680 MHZ.

Till then!
Meow..Meow..
ganda ng AMOLED dear noh.
ReplyDeletesomehow the form factor reminds me of this. i still have one of these sitting in my relic gadget gallery.

@John: ay nako dear, yes it is really REALLLYYY super ganda. I heart AMOLED, the price you have to pay for that kind of quality. haist.
ReplyDeleteOo nga, it does resemble the X7. Naks! vintage, what is that?
it's a Handspring Visor Prism, it's a PDA. without the GSM module pa yan, but you can install one to make it a phone. that existed back when the Nokia 7650 was still the king of the hill.
ReplyDeleteit's just even an AMOLED. My Samsung Galaxy Captivate is a SuperAMOLED, but the Gaalaxy Sll now is already a SuperAMOLED+, imagine how beautiful those were. parang lumulutang yung crisp and vivid images.itim na itim yung background at ang liwanag ng images.
it has landed in the phils already, about a month ago, with a landed retail price of Php19k.
ReplyDelete@John: I see, I wanted a PDA before.
ReplyDeleteOo nga eh, what more if its a super amoled+ grabe, geek gasmic na yun sa sobrang ganda.
Thanks for that, I haven't seen one or di ko lang napansin. Masyadong mabagal processor mas mabilis pa ace ko.
it's 600Mhz lang yata eh, 800MHz yung Ace di ba? weird because in the Transformers, it was used to navigate through maps, eh kailangan ng mabilis na CPU yun.
ReplyDeletelooks pricey, sis! pero ang ganda nga... fast ba ang processor? no problem with texting? reactive ang screen?
ReplyDeleteim looking for a 'thin' fone to replace my tiny samsung star wifi eh...
(i can't seem to view the video eh)
I love the design, resembles an Iphone though ^^
ReplyDelete@john: yes around 600MHz lang, yes rin sa ace. There was an installed racing game sa phone and it was slow. Ako naman, I dont really use my phone for gaming.
ReplyDelete@Gita: John says it's around P19k daw. As for processor, its only 600 MHz where as my samsung ACE is 800MHz. Though, watching sa Nokia X7 was smooth and crisp because of the AMOLED screen. Texting is nice, madali lang. What video are you talking about?
Hmm, your looking for a phone? what would you prefer? Android, symbian (nokia) phones? and your budget? Kasi ako I take into consideration what I want in my phone.
@Lina Kim: the design is nice, hmmm.. I don't think it resembles an Iphone in my opinion :)
@Gita: Symbian ever since claimed the throne for better task management function, and that's probably the reason why they didn't sport whopping fast CPU's as compared to their Android counterpart.
ReplyDeletereactive ang screen? for one this device, like others uses capacitative touchscreen display. gone are the resisistive display during the PDA time. but if you meant reactive to be snappy, ok naman sya. the best way to test it is to play highly graphical apps, see if it lags.
@Lina: just as every bar phone, Samsung, HTC, or LG, they tend to look like iPhone, however you can see the edges is a bit chiseled with grill design to mark its avant-garde design element. the design though is not a steal-off the other, even iPhone actually looked like my previous PDAs before. :)
ReplyDeletekitten, ayan, i can see na the video sample you posted.
