Tech love

  A couple of things that I need, which I thought I never needed haha. First one is the external hard drive, I bought BF one a year ago and now it seems that I need one for myself. I’m beginning to think now, am I being a gadget freak too? yikes! Well, I sure hope I can buy these in time.
1. NIKON L21 or L22?
                                                                  NIKON L21
Why I like it? because it’s pink, however it’s a little bulky because it uses 2 AA batteries. But this baby has an 8MP which ain’t bad. Price varies on different stores.
   Why I like it? it’s relatively slimmer than the L21, I think it runs on AA batteries as well, this one has a 12MP feature, slightly bigger LCD screen and 5 color feature which I would like to play around. BF and I checked these out at Glorietta near food choices, forgot the name of the store :(
   It’s funny how my mom is a photographer but never got her “genes” of being one, or even taking great photos like her, I’m an amateur really when it comes to photography. So why do I need one? I want to take better photos for my blog and capture every detail and enjoy their vivid colors. Also for those precious or wacky moments with the BF, as well as our future travel (which I hope will push through) this Christmas.
2. Western Digital – Hard drive
                                       My Passport Essential 250 or 320 GB
  Need this for saving important files such as softwares, files and other stuff which a USB isn’t enough. So of course, if this design is not available I’d go with this one, they’re all the same model.

3. ASUS Eee Netbook
   I’m not sure if by the time I can buy, if the Karim Rashid edition is still available, but for a netbook, I would go with ASUS since it’s tried and tested, which BF has for almost 2 years already I think (not the Karim Rashid okay? hehe)

  4. Nintendo DSi
           I miss owning a gaming hand held, used to have a DS Lite  but looong story…
      I just miss gaming and this one is perfect for me.
  I think that’s about it, BF says all in perfect time, since whatever we wanted we always get it, may not be now but in time ;) But of course I can’t help but crave for these especially the camera. XD

Weekend escapade + food tripping

 

  Happy Sunday all! Hope you’re all doing great this weekend! Yesterday was with the BF, first went to his group meeting with his friends then after that was us time. We first had dinner at Glorietta, first I was craving for Shakey’s but there was a long waiting line for it and we couldn’t wait since we were in a hurry to go shopping for his clothes. We ended up going to food choices instead, and among all the numerous choices, we decided to eat at Savoury, it was both our childhood memory, where our parents took us to eat somewhere down town manila. The lady offered us their package meal good for two people for only P290.00 which was not bad since it has a quarter leg chicken and 2 side dishes. We also ordered their Shrimp puff P125.00

  First off all, it was cute when we first took our  first bite of the chicken before anything else and said “hmmmmm…. definitely tastes like waay back when we we’re kids.” It does actually the chicken remained it’s taste just like before which was good and it was a pretty big quarter leg chicken. Of course, this isn’t complete without “THE” gravy, soo yummy!

                                                      Puff Shrimp P125.00

  It doesn’t look appealing for some but this was really good, I liked the puff that covered the shrimp. Dinner was indeed good, specially when you’re with you love one to eat with. Btw, Glorietta and Landmark we’re on sale, bought a few stuff at Landmark like, blotting film, nivea pearl beauty soap, carmex lip balm (no pictures sorry), I loved that they have a section dedicated for lip balms but I was really trying hard not to spend so much within my budget. Didn’t even buy make up since I still have a lot. But it was all good, it’s been a while since I went to Landmark and it sure did change, if only we were not in a hurry we could’ve strolled and checked other new stuff. BF and I while shopping bought some Mrs. Fields 1 dozen bite sized cookies, yum!~ it costs around P140 for 1 dozen if I remember it right.

My Verdict: 4/5 spoons (for the chicken) 5/5 (for the gravy) and 3.9/5 for the shrimp puff

  I really have fun when I’m out with the BF, of course with great friends too that I met in the office. It makes my day, makes me sane from the insanity and toxic people, ppsshh. 

  About the Hello Kitty BF surprised me by buying it for me, the mug, bowl and plate, here’s the picture of the mug.

    We also checked the gadgets and looked for cameras and phones, I’m undecided to get either the NIKON  L21 or the L22, I want a slim camera with a li-on battery but there’s no pink color for it. Well, it’s a long decision I have to make, as for the N8 this is too much for my budget, might as well buy a laptop with it’s price tag right? So yeah, I’m still going for the C3. 3 more weeks before my birthday, thinking of what to do, or if I should celebrate, no special plans but maybe make a wish list, even that I’m not sure either, haha. Oh well! Just one more day before I start for work again, can’t wait!

Hello Kitty addict is me!

 

  Hello my readers? I missed blogging, my memory  card may be corrupted that’s why I can’t transfer files anymore, darn it!

  Anyway, It was my 2nd time around to visit Southland gate mall in Pasong Tamo Makati, near the MRT station, which is sooo convenient. BF recently resigned in our company and embarked a better opportunity for him, the good thing about it is, it’s somewhat close to my house and where I travel to work and with that we can meet up after his work and have dinner together. First of all, before I reveal this upcoming haul, may I just say that I’m lovin’ the Southland Alphagate mall, it’s new actually and the Jollibee branch there is really nice, the ladies room is clean too, so I hope they keep it that way not just because it’s new. BF and I love the ambiance, very cozy. I wasn’t able to take pictures though, maybe next time. There are restaurants like, Chowking, Terriayki Boy, Goldilocks, food court, Tapa King, Jollibee, Le Couer de France and a few more. They also have a Super8 grocery where I heard is cheaper by a few pesos. There’s a lot more to see, usual stuff we see at other malls, but there are still a few vacant spots. What I love about it more is that, the mall in all floors are really cozy, not that cold but not hot. I’ll take more pictures next time. Anyway, we visited Daiso and it was LOVE! Here’s what I found and plan to buy this Friday! It’s a must!

     The first thing I saw at the window was this, and I was hypnotized by it. I’ve been meaning to find something like this for the longest time. BF said I was like a kid in a daze, haha.

   So that was the first one and thought that was about it, no more Hello Kitty stuff , but then as we went inside there were more. This time, another thing I’ve been searching for ever since I entered my new work. Boss has the same coffee mug but a different design.

   There are actually different designs, but these were the only open ones at that time. I think this is the one that I might buy, but the one in the other boxes looked much cuter.

  Seriously, I think I’ll be broke again this paycheck, so I really need to think hard about this one, I know my laptop is not a netbook, but it’s Hello Kitty hun! hehe.

  Here’s one thing I found, it’s not Hello Kitty, but still is a cat ^_^

  Oh my trip to Daiso earlier was HAVEN! lot’s of hello kitty stuff, there were even fork and spoons, but that’s too much already, or maybe next time again? HEHE.. BF found something nice for his netbook though, pretty good I think

The feel is quite nice and comfy for the netbook, what’s good about it? it’s only P88 bucks, more cheaper than the one they have at CD-R King. 

  So there goes my great find for the week, I’ll be doing some hauling this Friday and I can’t wait. As I’m typing right now, I’m still so happy that I’ve found these at Southland Mall ♥.

Introducing the New Nokia N8 ♥

 

 

 

I know, I know! I swear this is the last time I’ll be falling in love with a phone. First was the LG Cookie, then to Nokia C3 and now THIS! It’s sooo much like the N900 but waaay better, now that it has a Symbian 3 OS which is more easier to play around with. It has 12MP camera, thinner than N900 and everything about it is ♥ even if my favorite color isn’t available in this phone I would definitely go with this. I just love taking pictures for personal stuff or for my blog and of course going online at the comfort of my bed.
