Last few days with the E72 - sad

 

   Updates for the Nokia E72 review, I’ve been busy lately that I wasn’t able to make a review about the phone, it needs a sit down that’s why I prefer posting it on my off which is today. YEY!

    What can I say? I’ve fallen in love with the phone, more so because of the features and simplicity. The phone is called to be for Business people and prices here in the Phil ranges depending on the store you buy it.

    Here’s what I’ve recently found out about the E72:

• I was a bit ticked when I thought I had to keep pressing the next song, but then there are 3 choices and you should choose the option recently added option then all your songs can be played.
• Bluetooth (for calls) – I was able to call using the bluetooth and it works pretty fine, the person at the other end (the BF) said he can hear me fine and clear which is good. It’s pretty easy to use too for a first timer like me. I’m just not sure, if you buy the E72 here in the Philippines if it also comes with a free Bluetooth.
• OVI STORE – can I say that this one is pure LOVE! You can download free ring tones, themes, games, and apps of course.  I’m really glad they have this. Was able to download a game similar to bejeweled and it keeps me busy when I’m waiting for the BF whenever we go out for dinner.
• Talk theme – there are 3 themes for this phone (standby option) 1.Basic 2.Active –which I’m using and 3. Talking theme. My favorite part is when someone calls you, it will say the person’s name. Say for example, BF’s name in my phonebook is bebe martin, every time he calls it will say baby martin in a woman’s voice.
• As for messaging, normally you just read messages right? for this specific phone you can also listen to it. But it’s funny since it’s got the UK accent. It’s not only the E series that has this feature, even the N series has this which I find pretty unique. 
• Quick office – this is a good feature too! It works almost just like Microsoft office. You can choose from Document, Workbook or Presentation office. Almost works like a laptop already.

   I know the E72 has been out for quite sometime already, but if your planning to buy a phone if budget permits, this is a good option. Some sell this way overpriced, I saw a store selling it for P20,000. Where as the price is only around 16,000-18,000 pesos. The E72 is built for messaging and email with a full messaging keyboard. What’s great about it is the battery life! Did a stress test and I’m really impressed with the battery performance. 5/5

– very useful, you can charge your phone using this. Very easy to place in the bag without the extra weight.

   So basically, these were everything that’s inside the box that they gave me. It’s as if a bought a new phone. The phone also came with a screen protector. I definitely love reviewing a Nokia phone. I’m looking forward for more reviews, but we’ll see. I’ve pretty much featured what I love about this phone, and it’s only a few more days left before the email, sigh. All good things has to end, specially with this kind of review. I hope they’ll have this for a contest, Date Sufferers, I’m one of you now. I will definitely miss this phone A LOT! Also, one of my officemates love this phone too, he says that this is the best phone for him. 

  I’m definitely sticking with a Nokia phone ^_^

My Verdict: 5/5 this is the best phone for me, if only my budget permits :(

Kitty turns 26

 

   Just a few minutes more and it’s officially my birthday! First, I want to thank a good friend of mine via web, my fellow beauty blogger Lady E at bits and treats for giving me a surprise birthday gift yesterday. Most bloggers will have birthday give a ways, as for me, sorry guys, but on my anniversary will definitely have one. Anyway, this will be a quick post. Nothing special in plan actually, since I have work, though I do plan to attend mass before I head for work tomorrow. Somehow, as chaotic my world seems I have to be thankful for the blessings the Lord has given me, for 26 years it’s been one a crazy ride for me, I thank my real friends for being there and the new people I met at work, you are my treasures. Of course to the BF who has been always there to support me every step of the way for 4 years and turning 5 years next Month on October 3.

    Aside from mass, might eat out some place, treat myself to something. It’s already too late to make a birthday wish list anyway, was too caught up with work and other stuff. I am turning 26, I sure hope to fulfill my dreams. I am glad that I discovered the world of blogging, it has given me opportunities, to share what I most love and I will not stop from blogging.

      For those reading my blog posts, thank you. I appreciate every comment you  make and the fact that you are reading my blog means a lot to me. I won’t force you to follow my blog, I don’t mind really, the fact that I know that my blog is being read is more than enough for me, just follow if you really like the blog ^_^

Lady E + A sweet surprise

 

     It’s funny when I posted in my facebook “the week is almost ending, hopes something exciting or interesting will happen.” When I woke up this afternoon to prepare for work, I was still so sleepy, the first thing I looked at was the table and there were ironed clothes, which was good so I’ll just place them in my drawer. What caught my attention was there was a medium sized package which I thought was from my mom. And when I opened the lights, it didn’t have any writing on it whose it from? I was like O___O whose this from? while opening the package, literally opening it like a kid, yes it was damaged. I was thinking, did I win something? but then the contest I joined will not be announced until next week I believe, so it was really mind boggling. Upon opening the plastic there was a purple small paper bag and I immediately thought, has this something to do with Lady E’s question on when is my birthday? Opened the cute paper bag and saw some goodies. I first checked the letter and I was right! Lady E! you didn’t have to, it was so sweet of you, thank you so much. Here’s what happened

   I woke up past 6pm when I found it, first thing I did was read the letter

     I don’t want to reveal what she wrote, it’s just personal for me but those were very sweet words. What’s inside were these

Binalot

 

   Rainy Thursday everyone! Hope you were all safe and sound in your homes and didn’t get wet. For tonight, had dinner with the BF before heading to work and it was good, well not that awesome but better than I expected before, The Binalot restaurant. Binalot is a term for – food wrapped in huge banana leaves.

   The first time I ate here was years ago actually with my brother at Robinson’s Ermita, food court. I forgot what I ordered there and it was so bad that I said to myself to NEVER eat at any Binalot kiosk or store.  For some reason today, I had craving for good ol’ filipino meal for dinner and BF and I was famished, yes we we’re that hungry, since I just slept through my off and played games. I ate but mostly cereals and ample of servings since I didn’t have appetite eating at home. Anyway, enough babbling, here it is

  I ordered the Longganisa (sweet sausage) BF ordered Tocino (sweet pork) and sisig 

                     Food is tightly wrapped with banana leaves and paper – so pinoy

  Typically, it should be plain rice but you can upgrade it to adobo rice. However, being hungry that I was I didn’t listen to BF when he said that we can order the one with adobo rice already that costs P60 only for this particular order, it cost us around P70 or P80, the difference of the cheap one is that it has 2 longganisa’s only. Didn’t realize it until we were having dessert already. Oh well! The adobo rice costs P25 which is over priced and small, for taste it was okay, not bad, just okay. It was funny when BF said “no plates?” errr, honey that’s why it’s binalot, toink! haha. Hungry I was, I couldn’t savor the complete taste of the longganisa but I wasn’t disappointed about it.

     I know it’s blurry, sorry about that. This was BF’s order, his came with fried egg, mine came with the salted egg. Can’t say how it tasted but our banana leaves we’re empty after. 

   Separate order of Sisig no rice, topped off with fried egg. The sisig looked weird, good weird not bad weird, hehe. Taste was not disappointing.

     I liked their ambiance, pretty cool and cozy which is good, I hate eating at open places. And something sweet to end the meal was

    When we first saw this, we thought that it won’t taste good since it has a dark color so BF let me taste it first and it was surprisingly good. I love the texture, can be a little bit sweet for some but I like it, but yes for the price I think it’s too much. Of course it gave me a chance to take pictures with the phone I’m reviewing and so far I’m loving it, I just wished that it had more camera settings or features.

  We had a few drinks from Figaro before we went our separate ways, still playing with the camera.

    Total amounted to almost P300 for the Binalot. If I’m craving for something like this again, I’d definitely eat there again and bring the BF along. I’m glad despite it being pricey, we weren’t disappointed with the food.

Current Addiction – Rockin’ Ruby

 

  Happy September everyone! Ber month is here, it’s like a new chapter of this year. Lot’s of things to do, preparing for Christmas shopping, I can hear the bells! lol!

    Anyway, I’ve been craving for something lately which is:

  I was actually hesitant at first when BF bought me one a few weeks ago, since I’m not a fan of the coke float. It’s just that for my taste coke and ice cream does not compliment my palate as compared with rootbeer which I would prefer. :D But for this Rockin’ Ruby, which consists of Sprite, ice cream and I think strawberry flavoring it blended well and is now my latest addiction. This one we bought last night and it was raining hard, we ate at Chowking (a chinese fast food restaurant),  but had to buy this first since It’s been so long that I’ve been craving for it. BF bought the coke float.

   Looking forward to buying this again! I rarely go to Mc Donald’s really but with the Rockin’ Ruby float, I might visit on a daily basis, okay maybe twice a week until this addiction ends. LOL!
